Daniel K Solomon Elementary School home of the Lions.  We are located Schofield Barracks US Army Garrison Hawaii and as a on post school servicing approximately 750 military-connected students. One of their core values embracing the military culture which was evident during their purple star visit. The school recognizes the importance of creating a welcoming environment to set up students for success. They have a dedicated space for their transition center next to the Front Office where their transition Center coordinator and PCNC are housed. New students and families are greeted as a 'ohana and invited to participate in school led tours on their first day of school. After the students first day of school Solomon Elementary continue fostering a sense of belonging for students and families through their daily morning program where the principal leads an assembly with a positive message followed by words of encouragement from the Student Success Coach. And an Anchored for Life student recites the Pledge of Allegiance. They are highly, they are highly valued in their community and Military partnerships. Solomon Elementary School has a strong partnership with USAG Hawaii 29th Brigade Engineering Battalion who supports many of their school events, to include their Purple Up week event to honor the sacrifices of our military students and highlighting military culture during their faculty and staff professional development days.
