Curriculum

Our goal in 5th grade is to prepare our students to be ready for middle school.  We want to give all of our students a strong foundation so our students can easily transition into a middle school setting.  In 5th grade, we teach the Common Core State Standards through the CKLA (Core Knowledge Language Arts) curriculum and Ready Math. Science and Social Studies are usually integrated into our daily lessons in Reading and Math.
