2023 Federal Impact Aid Survey

On 6 September 2023, Hawaii Department of Education public schools will distribute Federal Impact Aid Survey cards to students. Parents should return completed survey cards on 7 September. It's a short survey for parents to complete and well worth the time investment. Federal Impact Aid is the Federal Government’s reimbursement to school districts for the presence of nontaxable Federal Property (e.g., schools on U.S. Army Garrison-Hawaii (USAG-HI) installations). Your input to the survey guarantees additional funding for your children’s schools. Funds subsidize student data system upgrades, utilities and the school buildings themselves, as well as instructional programs, curriculum materials and school-based behavioral health programs.
