The purpose of the Compact is to remove barriers to educational success imposed on children of military families because of frequent moves and deployment of their parents.
The Compact addresses key educational transition issues encountered by military families including enrollment, placement, attendance, eligibility, and graduation.
This training provides parents with an overview of the Compact and the provisions afforded to school-aged military-connected children as they move between public and Department of Defense Activity schools worldwide.
