Aloha!

I'm so happy to be working with you and your child this year! In first grade, we strive to become stronger readers, independent learners, and problem solvers. Please come see me if you have any questions, concerns or just want to chat. You can jot me a note as well. Another great way to get in touch with me is through the "Remind" text messaging service. Just opt in when you receive the notification. By working together (parent, child, & teacher), we can achieve more.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Panda Express visited us back in January. The children watched a short video, answered questions, and took pictures with a panda!  They even received a sticker, fortune cookies, and a coupon for a FREE kids' meal! They had a fun time!

The children have been learning new routines and procedures.  They've already made some progress in their reading levels . . . very exciting!  Math is also going well.  We look forward to even more learning, more growing. Thank you for supporting your child's education! You are the key to     his or her success!

Here's to a great year!
