About Pre-Kindergarten

 
Pre-Kindergarten Special Education is instruction specifically designed to meet the educational and developmental needs of children with disabilities, or those who are experiencing developmental delays. Depending on your child's IEP, services for preschool children (ages 3 through 5) are provided between the hours of 8 am-2 pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and  Friday and 8 am-1 pm on Wednesday. Our curriculum is guided by the HELDS Standards, Teaching Strategies Gold, and other supplemental resources. 
This year we will explore:
  • Numbers, Counting & Pre-Math Skills. 
  • Basic Shapes.
  • Colors. ...
  • The Alphabet. ...
  • Imaginative & Cooperative Play. ...
  • Fine Motor Skills. ...
  • Gross Motor Skills. ...
  • Social Skills & Independence.
