Welcome to Visual Arts!

Aloha Solomon Elementary Community, 

 

It's an honor to serve as your Visual Arts teacher.  Visual Arts can be a powerful tool to support success throughout a student’s education, both in and outside of the classroom. This year students will explore various art techniques and methods as well as art history and theory.  Students should gain new skills and perspectives of creativity that will positively impact the ways they explore, respond and connect to the world around them. 

 

Visual art curriculum is guided by the National Core Arts Standards, launched in 2014 and adopted by the Hawaiʻi State Board of Education on March 3, 2022.
