Welcome to Distance Learning! I am so excited to get to know my students and their families this school year.
Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I attended Edinboro University where I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I earned a BS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education and a M.Ed in Early Childhood Education. I also attended Point Park University where I earned a Principal Certification.
After teaching in PA for 9 years, the army moved my family (to include my husband and 5-year old daughter) to beautiful Hawaii. This will be my 3rd year teaching at Solomon.
I have taught a wide range of grade levels. This year, I get to experience distance learning in second grade. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, 5th grade and acted as an interventionist and academic coach.
I believe that all children have the ability to learn and grow no matter their starting position.
