Hawaii State Department of Education (HIDOE) students and families will have access to a new health hotline and telehealth services provided by the Hawaii Keiki: Healthy and Ready to Learn Program (HK), effective Friday, May 1. These new services will deliver equitable access to health resources and care for HIDOE students using mobile devices and interactive technology.

The Parent Line is a free statewide confidential telephone line. This site provides resources on child behavior, child development, parenting, caregiver support, and community links. They have a phone line staff that will help problem-solve parenting challenges and child and adolescent behavior.
Parents and caregivers have the responsibility to support their student's meaningful and regular engagement in learning through virtual means. The tips and tools offered here identify specific actions that can be taken to support your children in their continuous learning.

Army regulations state that all riders must wear helmets on installations. Please review the bicycle base policies by following this link.
AR 385-10 Army Safety Program states that helmets will be worn while using the following: bicycles, scooters, skateboards, roller skates and roller blades.
Please read the policy on remotely controlled (RC) aircraft. All Hawaii installations, including Solomon Elementary School, are required to immediately contact installation law enforcement upon observation of RC aircraft.
Effective January 1, 2016, any possession and/or use of electronic cigarettes will be considered a Class C offense.
