Student identification badges have been issued to all students for a variety of purposes including service in the lunch line. Due to changes in personnel and the point of sale system (transitioning from MealTracker to eTrition POS systems), the school has been working diligently to refine procedures to speed up meal service in the lunch line. Those students without a barcoded ID badge are unable to be scanned and each student's name must be manually typed into the system. This slows down the POS system and increases the time required to serve students. These procedures are designed to expedite lunch service for all students and in no way are a consequence for students without a school ID. The school will be resuming its student ID procedures where those who do not have their ID badge at lunchtime be placed at the end of the line to expedite lunch service.
