Please watch Mrs. Craig's video first. Then record a video of yourself explaining what you think a rondo is, and then making up your own song using claps, taps, snaps, or whatever sound you can make to show a rondo.

For example: A rondo pattern can be ABACA, so that may look like:
A: clap, clap, clap
B: snap, snap, snap
A: clap, clap, clap
C: finger tap, finger tap, finger tap

Record yourself talking about/comparing & contrasting Aloha 'Oe & whatever song you choose above. Discuss: what instruments you noticed, what did they sound like, how many musicians, was the song louder/softer, & which was your favorite & why. Enjoy!

HELPFUL HINT: You must create the video for the assignment on Flipgrid, THEN hit submit/complete assignment on the Google Classroom side. It is a 2 step process. You don't have to worry about attaching anything to the Google Classroom assignment. Simply record video in Flipgrid in the designated spot, and then hit submit/complete on GC. Hope this helps :)

Please watch video of Mrs. Craig first. Learn & review what B.E.S.T is & means in P Arts. Then choose one of the following poems & interpret (think & create) the poem into a dance,& record yourself doing so. I know dancing isn't everyone's favorite, but step outside of your comfort zone & TRY! You grow as a person & performer when you do this. You got this, 4th grade!!

Watch Mrs. Craig's video first. Then, create your own video showcasing 3 different characters from any of your favorite books, tv shows, plays, movies, musicals, etc (keep it school appropriate, please); pick characters in dramatic scenes. A dramatic scene is where they feel & act out of: fear, sadness, desperation, anger, nervousness. Act out these characters, but focus mainly on the pace, pitch, & volume of your voice, show how they are different from one another Hint: it's best to pick 3 different characters that are totally different from one another, and that especially have different speaking voices

After watching my video, record a video of yourself responding to at least 3 of the following external motivations:
How would you act/react to….
Your video game cutting off mid-game.
Finding a spider on top of your head.
You get hungry while standing in the kitchen.
You are in outer space & notice an air hole in your helmet.
You’re walking down the street, look down, and there is a $100 bill.
You are stuffing your face with candy, and you hear your mom/dad coming in the door after they’ve told you NO candy before dinner.
