For the rest of this week, I will not be checking for a minimum completed each day. Instead it is a transition to what a normal week would look like. Attached below is the suggested schedule on page 2.

Last week most of Acellus was assigned as "seat-time." If you honestly did the seat-time, you now have a good indication of how much can be done in a 45-minute block. Some courses you do not have to work on 45-minutes to attain the goal star for the day. Your progress and gold stars can be checked in the "Progress" window. The progress window helps you keep track of how many steps needs to be done before the week is up.

For each course in Acellus there is a recommended steps per week, as shown in the screenshot from the "Goal" section. Once you have a full blue progress bar, you are done working in that subject for the week. You could work a little ahead, but don't go too far! Once the course is completed, there will be no more assignments for the course.

Let's look at the math goal. The goal is 32 steps for the week. Since there are 5 days in a full week, 32 divided by 5 is 6 and 2 extra. This means on the 2 extra needs to be done at some point during the week. You may choose to do the extra all on one day or spread it out over multiple days. Now we are at the middle of the week. So by looking at the "Progress" window it will tell you what you need to do today for math. If you complete at least that much each day, you will be on target to finish your steps per week. You may choose to finish all the steps for math today instead to have a blue color to fill across the entire bar, so you do not have to come back to this subject for the rest of the week. Trying to do all of your math in one day is not recommended. However if you'd like to do all of your PE/SEL in one day, as that only is asking for 6 steps a week, that is fine.

Don't forget to do any Special Lessons that may appear as you work through the course. Try to get them done by the end of the week.

It will be up to you to distribute your workload into managable parts for you.

A recommended step amount per day for each course is as follows:
* Language Arts: 4 steps
* Mathematics: 6 or 7 steps
* Science: 2 or 3 steps

For the rest of this week, I will not be checking for a minimum completed each day. Instead it is a transition to what a normal week would look like. Attached below is the suggested schedule on page 2.

Last week most of Acellus was assigned as "seat-time." If you honestly did the seat-time, you now have a good indication of how much can be done in a 45-minute block. Some courses you do not have to work on 45-minutes to attain the goal star for the day. Your progress and gold stars can be checked in the "Progress" window. The progress window helps you keep track of how many steps needs to be done before the week is up.

For each course in Acellus there is a recommended steps per week, as shown in the screenshot from the "Goal" section. Once you have a full blue progress bar, you are done working in that subject for the week. You could work a little ahead, but don't go too far! Once the course is completed, there will be no more assignments for the course.

Let's look at the math goal. The goal is 32 steps for the week. Since there are 5 days in a full week, 32 divided by 5 is 6 and 2 extra. This means on the 2 extra needs to be done at some point during the week. You may choose to do the extra all on one day or spread it out over multiple days. Now we are at the middle of the week. So by looking at the "Progress" window it will tell you what you need to do today for math. If you complete at least that much each day, you will be on target to finish your steps per week. You may choose to finish all the steps for math today instead to have a blue color to fill across the entire bar, so you do not have to come back to this subject for the rest of the week. Trying to do all of your math in one day is not recommended. However if you'd like to do all of your PE/SEL in one day, as that only is asking for 6 steps a week, that is fine.

By the end of this week, Friday, September 4, 2020 this is the step you should be finished with:
* Language Arts: Step 38
* Mathematics: Step 64
* Science: Step 22
* Social Studies: Step 18
* Elementary Engineering: Step 20
* PE/SEL: Step 12

Don't forget to do any Special Lessons that may appear as you work through the course. When a Special Lesson needs to be done, a yellow dot with a number shows up by the briefcase icon for Special Lessons. Try to get them done by the end of the week. For now I have turned them off, as I did a selected review of the lessons and need to ensure that they are aligned with grade 4 standards. However, they may start to appear later after I have reviewed each one.

It will be up to you to distribute your workload into managable parts for you.

A recommended step amount per day for each course is as follows:
* Language Arts: 4 steps
* Mathematics: 6 or 7 steps
* Science: 2 or 3 steps
* Social Studies: 2 steps
* Elementary Engineering: 2 steps
* PE/SEL: 1 or 2 steps

Also there is a SEL Survey to be completed by Friday, September 18, 2020. Please work on it if you have time this week. If not it will need to be done next week. Please remember to click the "Mark as done" when you complete the assigned work.
