If so, we would love for you to volunteer at Solomon Elementary. At the Parent Community Networking Center we are always looking for parents and guardians to assist us in school related activities during or after school hours.

All volunteer hours spent at Solomon Elementary are certified hours through MyArmyOneSource and the Army Community Service.

These are some of the ways to become involved at our school:

  1. Parent Workshops
  2. Field Trip Chaperones
  3. School events
  4. PAWS store
  5. Fall/Spring Pictures
  6. Book Fairs
  7. Yearbook
  8. Classroom Helper
  9. Extra Curricular Classes
  10. Aina In School (School Garden)
  11. Box Top
  12. PTSO

Please share your ideas and input with us by either stopping by and chat with us in room P-12 or give us a call at 808-305-1832. You will be able to see and hear all of the exciting activities happening here at Solomon! If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to get in contact with us as well.

Solomon PTSO

We would like to extend a warm Aloha to all new and returning parents, guardians and students of our school. We encourage all of you to become members of our Parent Teacher Student Organization. For more information on becoming a part of the PTSO for the school year 2017/2018, please contact us at 808-305-1800 or stop by P-12. The PTSO organizes fundraisers throughout the school year and uses all the funds for fun activities for our students, like the Family Fun Fest or classroom parties.

 Volunteer Orientation

We always welcome your assistance on campus. A Volunteer Orientation is usually held twice a month on a Monday, during a school calendar day.  However, due to all of the holidays and school breaks this year, we chose to select alternate days to hold our orientations. We are also available to host 1on1 Volunteer Orientations at a different time and date if a parent is unable to attend any of the scheduled orientations. All parents/guardians must attend the orientation in order to attend field trips, participate in classroom activities, and chaperone on or off campus events.  Volunteer Orientation begins at 8:15 am in room P-12, and last approximately 30 minutes.

We hope to see you all there!

Ribana Washington
