Aloha! This page provides information to stakeholders about our school's finances and operations for school year 2017-2018 via our Academic Plan and Comprehensive Financial Plan. Our School Community Council (SCC), made up of principals, teachers, staff, students, parents and volunteer community members, help to craft and approve these plans for the following school year. An election is held annually to set membership on the SCC. If you are interested in joining our SCC, please contact the principal. Learn more about School Community Councils on the Hawaii DOE website.
Our next SCC meeting will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 @ 3:30 in the library, where we will be going over the draft of our 3 year Academic Plan and 2017-2018 Financial plan.
Documents will be uploaded once the Faculty and SCC approve the plans.
School Community Partnerships
Our school utilizes community resources to support students in a variety of ways. Many resources are available due to the fact that Solomon is located on a military installation. Community resources include:
-Tripler Army Medical Center
-Army School Liaison
-Army Community Service (Schofield Branch)
-Joint Venture Education Foundation
-Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program
-Department of Defense Education Activity
-Hui 'O Na Wahine
-Art Bento (Hawaii State Art Museum)
-U.S. Army Garrison, 29th Engineer Battalion
-Harry Kwon Scholarship Program
-Solomon Parent Teacher Student Organization
Community resources are a key strength at our school. These resources provide support to students physically, emotionally, socially and academically. Solomon is humbled by the amount of support received each year.
